My husband and i recently tore the carpet from our stairs and painted the wood underneath creating a fresh clean and modern look.

Apply leverage with the angled tip to pop the staples out. Removed stare tacks and staples using a crowbar hammer and flat head screwdriver pliers would work too. Once the carpet is removed you might be thinking wow what have i gotten myself into. You will do lots of pulling and slicing to get the carpet off.
